Overview

The Google Maps app in  
Supadü  gives you the ability to illustrate your location on your website in several great ways such as adding your company logo to the pointpoint location, you can add multiple points and add text descriptions to your points.

About Google Maps

Google Maps powers many map-based services, including the Google Maps website, Google Ride Finder, Google Transit, and maps embedded on third-party websites via the Google Maps API.

It offers street maps, a route planner for traveling by foot, car, or public transport and an urban business locator for numerous countries around the world.

Selecting and applying the app

To use this app, drag and drop the apps option on the toolbar and select the Google Map app.

Configuring the app

Setting up the Google Map app is straightforward and should only take a couple of minutes. Enter your desired Latitude and Longitude (if you don't know them, put your postcode into a free site such as www.findlatitudeandlongitude.com. You can enter a title such as Acme co and upload your company logo to replace the pin point/bubble. Alternatively, you custom your bubble from selecting from a host of colours.



Alternatively, you can manually locate your office by selecting the alter coordinates option and selecting your point from the map.

Once you have - as with most Supadu apps - defined your styling and size, click on options to choose how you would like to display the map e.g. map view or satelite. You can also custom the presentation of your map to compliment screen size or multiple locations with the zoom level, scale slider type and scale bar.
