Using the Facebook Like app
Overview
The Facebook Like app creates a button that allows users to “like” the website so it appears on their Facebook page. When users click the like button on your website, they will be asked to log into their page and an auto-generated news item will appear on their feed about the site they are have just clicked the like button on. Adding a Facebook like button to your website can therefore help drive traffic towards your page as all the Facebook user's contacts will see the notification.
Selecting and applying the app
The first step is to select the Facebook Like app from the Apps option on the toolbar and drag and drop it onto the canvas.
You will then be directed into the ‘configure your app’ settings.
Configuring your app
For this particular app, there are no settings for you to adjust except the size. The default app dimensions of 300 x 200 pixels should be reduced to our recommended settings given below.
Recommended dimensions for app: 25 pixels high by 85 pixels wide

Once users click the like button you have just applied to your website, they will be directed to the Facebook login page.
N.B. Users are advised to ensure the URL for the page that they log into reads https://www.facebook.com/login.php to verify its authenticity and prevent them inputting their log in details to a phishing site.
