Using the clipboard
Overview
Any piece of content can be copied to the clipboard and then pasted into another Supadu page. You can use the clipboard on any page, microsite or site to which you have access. This is a good method for copying content between pages.
Copying to the clipboard
If you editing a Supadu page and want to copy a piece of content, right-click over the content and select 'Clipboard > Copy to'.
Pasting from the clipboard
Navigate to the page where you want to paste the content, move the mouse to where you want the content to appear, right-click and select 'Clipboard > Paste from'.
A list of recently added items appears in the clipboard palette with the most recent at the top left. Click on the item you want to paste by clicking on it.
Paste as copy
To make a copy of the original content choose 'Paste as copy'. This duplicates the content and adds it to the page at the point where the mouse is positioned. When you make a copy there is no further connection between the original and copied content. Editing or deleting one copy has no impact on the other.
Paste as global element
To make a linked copy of the original content choose 'Paste as global element'. This duplicates the content and adds it to the page at the point where the mouse is positioned. The difference with 'Paste as copy' is that a link is retained between the original and copied content. Editing one copy will also change the other - even if it is on another page or microsite. Some attributes are not global, however, including the position on the screen and any padding, border, or background color that you apply through the content palette.
