The Supadu Toolbar - The Image Tool

Overview

The Image tool is where you can import and upload images or any design elements that have been created outside Supadu.

Applying the Image tool

The first step is to drag and drop the image option onto the canvas. An image box will then open:

The image files must first be uploaded into the Supadu server. Click on the "browse" button to open up the asset library.

Once you have the asset library opened up, click on the “upload” button and then “browse” again and search for the file on your computer.
N.B Due to pixel size constraints, the maximum size of an image that can be uploaded is 2MB.

You can now select the image that has been uploaded and it will appear in the “choose image” box. Fill in the alt-tag details (the alt attribute is the textual image description that appears if the image cannot be displayed) then click save.

To move the image around, right click, go to “edit element” and click the hand cursor icon and drag.

The Image Toolbar

The Image toolbar has various options on the toolbar. Hover over them to see what each one does.

When using the Resize tool, we advise using it for minor adjustments only.  For larger-scale resizing images are best scaled in an external image editor to help maintain the image quality and give you more precise control.

The Rollover option allows you to place an image on top of the base image, that will appear when the mouse scrolls over it.

You can also Link to another page from the image, by selecting this option and inserting the URL into the fields, as well as deciding if you want the page to open in a new browser window.
