Pointing your domain at Supadü
If you have a specific web address (web domain) that you would like to use for a Supadu site then you need to do one of two things:
(1) Re-point the A-record (recommended)
This option allows you to retain control over the domain name for things like email and any sub-domains that may be setup.
All you need to do is re-point the A-record of your domain name to the i.p. address of the Supadu server which is 78.136.33.84.
You would typically do this through the control panel of the registrar that you (or someone in your company) used to originally register the domain name, e.g. www.networksolutions.com.
If the choice is available, re-point both the domain name with the www prefix, i.e. www.supadu
Note: it can take 24 hours to "propagate" so don't leave this to the last minute when you're trying to launch a landing page especially as we also need 24 hours notice for doing configuration at our end and testing that everything is working correctly.
(2) Transfer the DNS for the domain (advanced)
If you would like us to manage your domain name on our "domain name servers" then instead of just re-pointing the A-record, you can alternatively transfer the DNS to our control and we can make the changes for you.
Important note: any existing settings or use of the domain for email will stop working
Our DNS servers:
NS.RACKSPACE.COM
NS2.RACKSPACE.COM
