Linking to PDF Files
There are 2 ways to link to a PDF file from your Supadu page: from a text link, or from an image. The process is slightly different in each case:
(1) Linking to a PDF from a text link
If you want to link to a PDF from a text link, go into the advanced text editor (click on the pencil icon), highlight the text that you want to link and then click on the globe link icon.
Clicking on the globe icon brings up the link dialog box:
Click on 'Browse Server' to bring up the asset library. Navigate to the 'PDF' folder in the asset library and either upload your PDF file (maximum file size 6MB) or select a file that is already uploaded. Select a file by double-clicking it. This will close the asset library and return you to the link dialog box with the location of the file automatically filled in the URL box.
Note: you can also link to any external PDF file just by pasting in the URL into the box manually.
(2) Linking to a PDF from an image link
If you want to link to a PDF from an image link, add the image to the page or right-click on an existing image and select 'Edit element'. The image editing palette appears - click on the link icon:
The 'add link' panel opens (see below). Click 'Library browser' to bring up the asset library. Then navigate to the PDF folder and either select an existing PDF (double-click), or upload a new PDF to the folder. Files can be up to 6MB in size. If you want to upload a larger file then just contact us.
